Journal Policies
Periodicity & Continuity
Periodicity refers to the fixed and declared frequency with which a journal or publication releases its issues—such as monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual. Continuity means maintaining this schedule consistently without interruption or unexplained delays. A regular publication schedule demonstrates the journal’s stability, reliability, and commitment to academic standards.
Archival Policy
An archival policy defines how a journal preserves and provides long-term access to its previously published issues. A well-established journal must ensure that all past volumes and articles are systematically stored, securely backed up, and permanently accessible through its official website or trusted digital repositories.
Open Access Policy
A journal must clearly state whether it operates under an open access model or a subscription-based model. In an open access policy, all published articles are freely available to readers without payment, and the journal may charge authors an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover publication costs. We Express transparently displays all applicable fees.
Repository Integration
Integration with National/International Repositories (Inclusion under ONOS or Similar Umbrellas) enhances visibility, accessibility, and academic credibility. Inclusion under initiatives such as One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) ensures that research outputs are systematically archived.
Acceptance Rate
The acceptance rate represents the percentage of submitted manuscripts that are ultimately accepted for publication after the completion of the editorial screening and peer review process. It reflects the selectivity and academic standards of the journal.
Efficient Editorial & Review Process
An effective editorial and review process ensures that manuscripts are evaluated thoroughly, fairly, and within a defined timeframe of four months. The editorial board carefully evaluates the reviewers’ reports and ensure that authors address all comments.
